CardioPortal™ System
Cardiocore’s CardioPortal application was designed in collaboration with sponsors and investigative sites. This advanced web portal posts complete ECG reports, including waveforms, measurements and interpretations, as well as Holter and ECHO analysis reports. An integrated component in Cardiocore’s data management platform, the CardioPortal posts up-to-the-moment data immediately as each analysis is completed. The CardioPortal enables sponsors to achieve rapid, informed decision making, unlike many other web services where periodic uploads result in delayed access.
In the CardioPortal, study progress can be tracked and measurements trended. Cardiac safety data, subject summaries and alert notifications may be sorted and filtered by sponsor-selected variables, and results exported to Microsoft Excel, Word or XML. Individual reports may be magnified and shifted for close examination of measurements and morphology.
Sponsors are able to authorize accounts for members of their own organization, personnel at investigative sites and other project team members. The CardioPortal’s customizable design allows sponsors do determine which study data may be accessed by each authorized user.
Many investigative sites maintain important IT regulations that restrict the use of software downloads and browser plug-ins. Uniquely, CardioPortal’s advanced design does not require any client-side applications. That key design element enables all sites with internet connectivity to access the benefits of the CardioPortal without any delays or complexities associated with their internal IT procedures.
By enabling virtually all sites to access their data online, the CardioPortal has led the industry beyond the outmoded method of faxing reports to sites. While the faxing method pushes poor-quality printouts into unsecured fax trays around the globe, the CardioPortal empowers site personnel to securely view, download or print reports at their own convenience. In the rare instances where a site does not maintain basic internet access, Cardiocore provides reports using traditional fax or mail methods.
